    • Hi All, just got my new S1 Scuba and I noticed that itis broadcasting an SSID.  I didn’t think this had any wifi controls.  Can anyone confirm that?  If it doesn’t then why does it have an SSID?

    • Congratulations on your new S1 Scuba! It’s great to hear that you’re exploring its features. It’s interesting that it’s broadcasting an SSIDmp3 juice. While I’m not familiar with this specific model having WiFi controls, it’s possible that the SSID is for a different function, such as firmware updates or connectivity with other devices. Enjoy Vincent!

    • So is the WiFi that it is broadcasting supposed to be used for firmware updates?  if so where would we find the instructions on how to use this firmware update feature?

Yes, it’s used to update the firmware.  I updated mine last week.  Install the Aiper app if you haven’t already.  Open the app and select Support at the bottom, then select the Scuba S1 from the list of models.  That will open the FAQ’s for the Scuba S1.  Select View More to display all the FAQ’s.  The very last one is “How to upgrade your robot”.  Select it and you’ll see a link for OTA Upgrade which takes you through the steps to upgrade the firmware.

    • 2 Questions:

What is the password to connect to the aiper-xxxxxx SSID that is broadcast by the Scuba S1?

Can the Scuba S1 be used with the Aiper App?
