    • hi, I recently our previous Aiper robot was recalled. We received a Seagull Pro as a replacement last week. I’ve charged and used it TWO times. Today I went to charge it, and upon plugging it in to the charger it gave me a single beep and a small red light came on on the power dial. I verified the unit was off by failing on then off again. I unplugged and replugged with the same result. I tried powering it on, but the same single beep with red light. I tried unit in water and it was completely unresponsive. What is the problem? Please help!

    • Yeah, I have a Aiper seagull 800 and have the same problem, after inspecting the unit i found that i could hear water inside the housing for all the electronics of the device. It’s pretty frustrating to buy a pool cleaner and have it fail only after using it two times.

    • My Seagull Pro won’t charge either. One beep with red light, then no red light.  Have had it 2 months ( used less than 15 times ).
      Will call support on Monday.

    • Hi guys,

For your issue with the Seagull Pro, please contact customer service. Both your problems seem to be needing a replacement unit. Use Service@aipervip.com for the fastest response.

    • So here is my story .. I received a Seagull pro as part of an influencer program.  About a month into it’s use earlier this year it started to show the blue and red blinking lights when in the pool.  It was replaced with my current unit.  Now my current unit is toast.

Yesterday it was cleaning my above ground pool.  When I went to check on it several hours later I found it stuck in the pool ladder and blinking red.  I removed it from the pool and charged it.  I noticed one side set of wheels didn’t move as easily as the other side.  I charged fine and I put it back into the pool.

It ran in forward motion only with some turning action.  It didn’t back up at all.  I removed from the pool, turned it off and turned it over on my picnic table to look at it.  It beeped once.  I turned it upright and went to charge it and nothing is happening.  No ring light flashing, indicator on charger stays green.  Feels like water got into the electronics, AGAIN ???

Up until now I was counting the first issue as a fluke.  Now #2 is down.  I am not impressed with the quality if the waterproofing of the electronics is that flimsy.
